Tomato Chilly Chicken Recipe

Not every day there is time to go and do shopping for fresh ingredients.

For such a day we make sure that we have : fresh onions, something in the freezer, canned and dry ingredients.

A fast and easy recipe as simple as this description...


  INGREDIENTS : Tomato Chilli Chicken

  • 1/2 chicken, cleaned and cut in pieces
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • US 3.5 ounce (Australia 3,3ounce) (100gr) tomato puree (= 1 small tin can)
  • 1/2 cup water
  • salt to taste (1 teaspoon)
  • blend to a paste :
    • 1 small onion
    • 17 dried chillies
    • 1/2 tablespoon oil
       

  PREPARATION : Tomato Chilli Chicken

  1. Heat oil on medium fire. Put in sliced onion. Fry till fragrant.
  2. Add chicken and chili paste. Fry for 5 minutes.
  3. Add tomato puree water and salt. Stir till well mixed.
  4. Put a lid on it and simmer until ready (30 minutes).
  5. Serve with lots of love.
